Situated in the stunning grounds of Malvern College, we offer a fantastic variety of venues for filming, providing real flexibility of choice when planning sets of any size. Malvern College is one of the great English independent schools, and is situated on the slopes of the Malvern Hills and close to the centre of Great Malvern.
The beautiful 250-acre main College campus commands striking views across the Severn Plain towards the Cotswolds. The main building, built in 1865, is an excellent example of Neo Gothic architecture. The excellent facilities here include eleven boarding houses (two with ensuite facilities to all rooms), many classrooms and function spaces, chapel, music school, an arts centre, a newly redeveloped theatre, two tournament quality rackets courts, library and a technology centre. A newly refurbished science centre was officially opened in 2015 which, alongside state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment, also has a new lecture theatre.
Our other facilities include cricket pitches, multiple pitch main sports fields with two astro-turf pitches, sports complex featuring a twenty-five metre pool, an eight-court sports hall, squash courts, gym, dance studio, climbing wall and rifle range. Our location is truly unique, as well as stunning, and will provide the perfect set for many filming opportunities.
Production Managers will be happy to see that there is plenty of parking for Unit Vehicles and accommodation on site for Cast & Crew making Malvern College the perfect Unit Base/Production HQ when filming in the beautiful Malvern Hills.
