We are delighted to welcome Brinsop Court as a wonderful and versatile new location.
Set in 1800 acres of woodland which provides for wonderful exterior sequences. The house itself can provide exterior facades from 3 different periods 14thC, 16thC and early 20thC which makes it a destination for many different types of Period Drama.
Production Designers and Art Directors will love: Tirrells House – North – dates from 1310-1320 – used to be a chapel, Dansey House – North east – which dates from 1913 Astley House – East – dates from 1913 Bailey House – West – Georgian – 1500s – very narrow original wooden doorway to outside. The Queen Anne Dining Room – beautiful room dating from 1600s.
The Great Hall with huge oak beamed original vaulted ceiling (1180) and large fireplace with shouldered lintel. The Great Hall has a secret door into Astley House (disguised as a bookshelf). There is a door way to stone steps to courtyard and another secret doorway under these steps leads back into the house.
Brinsop Court Manor has hosted “The Gadget Show” on a couple of occasions and Production Managers will appreciate the extensive space available for Unit Vehicles and that Brinsop Court can provide excellent accommodation (awarded 5 star Gold by Visit England) means that senior members of the cast will very much enjoy relaxing on ‘Hotel Call’ whilst being a stone’s throw from where filming is happening.
Brinsop Court Manor really needs to be seen to fully appreciate it’s potential.
