We are delighted to introduce this lovely new location Cleeve House. With it’s almost Gothic Exterior and wonderful interiors this would be a fantastic location for many types of Period Drama.
With eight comfortable bedrooms Cleeve House will be perfect for accommodating senior members of the Cast & Crew. Actors will enjoy relaxing here on ‘Hotel Call’ whilst being only minutes from where Filming is taking place.
There is 6 acres of land surrounding the House which makes it an ideal Unit Base and there is a marquee available should the weather turn nasty which will easily shelter cast, crew and supporting artists, this would also be extremely useful for Makeup & Wardrobe to base themselves.
The six acres of land around Cleeve House include an extensive field, an ornamental cherry tree garden, two paved terraces and a large private wood with rare and beautiful trees. Snowdrops, daffodils and bluebells fill the grounds in Spring, under lilac, cherry and apple blossom. With its magnificent spaces and lasting impressions, Cleeve House is available for Film Shoots on an Exclusive Hire Basis, giving you priority and privacy
With oak panelled walls, a minstrel’s gallery under high vaulted ceilings, a large bay window and open wood fireplace, the Great Hall was built to entertain and impress guests. Grand and spacious, the Hall is central to the magnificence of the house, and provides a perfect space for Filming and for the End of Shoot Party.
In June 2008, Cleeve House was the filming location for a small independant film called: “What A Witch!”.
