High Elms Manor School, situated as it is near to Leavesden; Pinewood and Elstree Studios is unique in being able to offer the children of actors and visiting production staff working at these studios, care for their young children aged 6 months and above and full day Education on a short term or longer term basis.
Time at the School can be tailored to the length of the Actor’s/Production Staff contract which means that Children can still be near to their parents whilst they are working without having their Education disrupted.
High Elms Manor curriculum is based on the National Curriculum. Subjects covered are English, History, I.T., D.T., Geography, Mathematics, Biology, Science, R.E. and French.
Other activities include Project Work, Crafts, Movement, Singing, Speech and Drama, P.E., Swimming, Sports, Art and Music.
