Railfilms ltd and its subsidiary Statesman Rail are owners of railway carriages and operators of private trains across the Network Rail system. We can provide modern rolling stock and period rolling stock for on board live filming. Carriages include the famous Trianon Bar in Pullman Car “Pegasus”. An original carriage from the 1951 Golden Arrow train with 14 armchair dining seats, a dramatic full length bar and all the glitz and polish from the golden days of train travel. Or there are luxury air-conditioned modern “Pullman” cars. The group offers rolling stock, track access facilities to the national rail network, train management and logistics.
Statesman Rail’s own mainline luxury train is also available with silver service dining for up to 200 guests. Travel in style to sporting events and great British occasions!
Special Great Western Railway 1st Class Saloon 9005 built in 1931 is available on the South Devon Railway and can be chartered behind steam for the ultimate period location work along a delightful and scenic branch line. Sister carriage GWR 9004 goes one better in that being registered for mainline operation is capable of use throughout the mainline rail network. Both vehicles equipped with 1930’s dining seats, kitchen, toilet and large observation windows.
