The Penn House Estate

We are delighted to introduce this superb, versatile new Film Location and Unit Base The Penn House Estate.

The Penn House Estate is situated in one of the prettiest parts of the Chilterns and has been passed down in a direct family line since the Middle Ages.

Penn House itself dates from 1760. The Estate is located near Amersham, Buckinghamshire, within easy reach of both the M40 & M25 and only 30 miles from the centre of London.

Many television programmes have been filmed on the Estate including Midsomer Murders and New Tricks.

Several Commercials have been filmed there and recently the Penn House interior was used for as a setting for Guy Ritchie’s Rock ‘n’ Rolla.

The most ambitious project was the filming of “Nanny McPhee”. Twenty acres of parkland were transformed into the magical setting of the main house, funeral parlour and village scene in this romantic children’s movie.

There are many period properties on the estate apart from the Main House and there are ancient woodlands and fields available for filming.

The Penn House Estate would be ideal for filming both contemporary and Period Drama.

Situated as it is near to both Pinewood and London The Penn House Estate welcomes enquiries from Film and TV Programme makers from around the World.
