The Staffordshire Regiment Museum

The Staffordshire Regiment Museum tells the story of the Staffordshire Regiment and all its antecedents from its formation in Lichfield in 1705. Situated alongside DMS Whittington, formerly Whittington Barracks, the Regiments spiritual home, the museum collection has over 12,000 items relating the history of this truly exceptional Regiment. As well as looking at the history we are also focused on the future and the bravery and sacrifice of the men of Staffordshire still lives on within the Mercian Regiment.

The Mercian Regiment was created in 2007 from an amalgamation of the Cheshire Regiment, The Worcester Forester Regiment and the Staffordshire Regiment. The Museum also boasts an excellent representation of First World War Trench system and also displays Second World War air raid shelters and pill box. All this is set within extensive grounds

Production Mangers should know that there is plenty of parking for Unit Vehicles making the museum the perfect Production Headquarters and a practically limitless supply of Military Advice.
