Boxted Hall

We are delighted to introduce this wonderful new location Boxted Hall which is a beautiful moated house in the ownership of one family since the 14th. century. A hidden gem in the unspoilt rural countryside of Suffolk, it lies in the heart of a valley, obscured from the bustle of everyday life. Wildlife abounds in the surrounding 200 acre parkland and woodland, with the moat and adjoining river full of wildfowl and fish. Yet it is less than two hours from London.

This unique location is ideal for many types of Period Drama and Production Designers and Art Directors will greatly appreciate the genuine interiors which will provide the perfect backdrop without using a studio, from the 1300’s onwards.

Boxted Hall

There are 200 acres of mature parkland enclosed by a 1000 acres of arable farmland.

Production Managers should note that the House itself can accommodate up to 24 people to a very high standard including Families and is extremely secure as the House is surrounded by a moat with a gatehouse on the bridge which can be locked at night.

Actors will very much enjoy relaxing on “Hotel Call” in safety and comfort whilst being minutes from where filming is taking place.

To view this fantastic location with it’s accommodation and Unit Base potential please use the contact details to organise a ‘recce’.
