Lusty Glaze Beach is a perfect horse shoe shaped cove nestled into Newquay bay in North Cornwall. The only way in or out is the 133 steps that take you from the top of the cliff to the cove 120 feet below. The Cove itself is privately owned which makes life easy if you are trying to get approvals or you would like to close the beach to the public.
The beach has a large car park over looking Newquay Bay with room for 400 cars. The car park has double gates and hard standing area for up to 3 coaches or large production vehicles, with a kiosk serving hot food and tea and coffee. In addition to the beachside restaurant and bar, there is accommodation on the beach with two holiday chalets which both sleep six people.
There is an Adventure Centre at the beach, with a zip wire that runs 500 feet from one side of the cove to the other. You can also abseil the cliffs; there is a vertical assault course and man made tunneling experience. As well as having a Surf School and you can also take part in Coasteering through the caves and jumping from the Cliffs with Lusty Glaze’s team of experienced instructors.
