Sail Southwold Ltd has many years of experience in the marine world. Marcus Gladwell the company director has has sailed twice around the world, has run traditional sailing charter vessels, dived and fished commercially is the principal of the RYA powerboat school Southwold Sea Training and was the senior helm on Southwold lifeboat for many of his 24 years service before retiring from the operational side of the crew in 2012. He is still working with the RNLI on new initiatives to save lives through an educational programme.
We have three coded vessels capable of working at night. We have recently branched out into safety cover for a number of civil engineering companies.
We have worked with film and television crews on a number of projects over the years including BBC’s Spring Watch in 2014.
We are based in the iconic town of Southwold is set on the Suffolk Coast. It has been very popular with documentary and film makers due to its excellent hotels and beautiful locations including National Nature Reserves all within a short distance of the town centre. YouTube Channel
