St Edmund’s School

We are delighted to introduce our beautiful, historic, new location St Edmund’s School.

Situated in Canterbury, Kent, the magnificent 19th century historic buildings are set amongst acres of tranquil mature gardens and parkland. St Edmund’s provides some unrivalled opportunities for many types of Period Drama Productions and is a perfect backdrop for a variety of Photo Shoots and Commercials.

With excellent links to London St Pancras, this location, complete with large terrace, boasts panoramic views across the famous old City and the Cathedral, and offers fantastic Camera Positions for filming all of this.

There is ample space for parking Unit Vehicles, making it the perfect Production Headquarters when filming in the area. There is a magnificent, wooden domed chapel with lovely stained glass windows and a large, beautiful oak panelled Dining Hall, offering many options for the Production Designer. Outside, the elegant limestone-arched colonnade provides a wonderful location for intimate outdoor scenes.

If you listen carefully, you can almost hear the singing of the Canterbury Cathedral Choristers who are educated and cared for by the school as part of a proud and long standing tradition.

There is also a fully equipped 400 seat Theatre on site which will be very useful for screening material filmed during the day. Combined with great catering facilities St Edmund’s will not only provide a great film location, but also a fantastic venue for your end of shoot party!
