The Old Station Tintern

The Old Station is what remains of the Chepstow to Monmouth railway which closed in 1964. Today there are lovingly restored Victorian buildings in the form of the original waiting room and signal box. There are two restored carriages on site but these have been converted into a shop and exhibition.

The site is set in 10 acres of riverside meadow with the River Wye running through the site. The tranquillity of the site and the stunning views and backdrops make this a popular choice for photographers and advertisers.

The site hosts vintage weddings throughout the summer, and the lower riverside meadow has access for vehicles.
