Ugbrooke House

We are delighted to introduce this wonderful new location Ugbrooke House.

Suitable for many types of Period Drama Ugbrooke House is a hidden treasure set in a romantic Devon valley.

Situated in it’s own extensive grounds Ugbrooke House provides not only the perfect Film Location, it also will make a highly suitable Unit Base/Production HQ whilst filming in the area.

The castellated Manor House sits foursquare and strong in the centre of the parkland. Remodelled by Robert Adam in the 1760s, the house has a magnificently restored interior.

Highlights include the fabulous Norfolk Room with its 18th Century embroideries; a rare family collection of Military Uniforms and memorabilia; and the stunning Catholic Chapel where Mass has been said regularly since 1673.

There are many tales of espionage, intrigue and a secret treaty all played out within the Clifford family ancestry.

Capability Brown Parkland surrounds the house providing spectacular lakeside walks as well as formal gardens including a maze, fernery, lavender parterre; all set in acres of green lawns graced with majestic parkland trees.
