Blackmore Farm

Blackmore Farm situated near Bridgwater in Somerset is a beautiful old location. The manor house was built in the 15th century and mentioned in the Domesday Book.

This would be a wonderful setting for many types of Period Drama with the house providing an authentic backdrop, the surrounding land providing great camera positions for exterior location filming and the interiors pleasing Production Designers and Art Directors with a fantastic array of genuine period rooms and a selection of many different types of historic artefacts in the background to enhance authenticity.

Production Managers should note that there is plenty of room for Unit Vehicles, many of the cast & crew can be accommodated on site which means that actors can relax very near to where filming is taking place and there is a fantastic breakfast available as well to start the filming day off in the best possible manner!

Not only would Blackmore Farm be a great location for Productions with an Elizabethan or English Civil War theme it would also make a great Production Headquarters when filming in this beautiful part of Somerset.
