Paradise Wildlife Park (Zoo)

Paradise Wildlife Park (PWP) recently became a fully registered charity, they have over 800 animals in their care and, to date, have contributed more than £5m to conservation projects and wildlife causes in the UK and around the world.

PWP is set in 30 acres of picturesque woodland, with a miniature railway which is useful for animation sequences, PWP offers the perfect background for projects with a wildlife theme. It also has function rooms available making it an excellent location for programmes that need to accommodate reasonably large members of the public such as ‘Antiques’ programmes.

Their new major attraction, World of Dinosaurs opens in the Woodland at Easter 2018, and features 30 life-size, fully animatronic scary beasts.

Paradise is the only zoo in the UK with 5 different Big Cat species: Tigers, White Lions, Jaguars, Snow Leopards and White Tiger). We are also home to Monkeys (we have one of the largest collections of small monkeys in the UK), Zebras, Lemurs, Meerkats, Red Pandas, Tapirs, Penguins, Wallabies, Emus, Birds of Prey, Reptiles (including the UK’s largest Anaconda), Wolves and many more.

Paradise Wildlife Park / The Zoological Society of Hertfordshire is situated 20 miles north of London, 7 miles from Junction 25 on the M25 and approximately 25 minutes from London Liverpool Street by rail. PWP have ample free parking on site making it the perfect Production HQ when filming in this part of Hertfordshire.

The staff at PWP are used to helping film makers and the site can stay open late if need be to accomodate filming once the public have left.
