Powderham Castle, the seat of the Earl of Devon, sit alongside the Exe Estuary in 3500 acres of Deer park, home to 650 fallow deer. The castle itself boasts grand state rooms each with its own individual style, from medieval style wood panelling to the intricate dome topped James Wyatt music room.
Our outdoor spaces include acres of woodland, a woodland pavilion, and a hill top belvedere. The Unused towers of the castle provide the eeriest of backdrops. The original tower of the castle was built in 1390 and additional wings have been added by generations since.
